That place of deeper still...

Where You go, Lord, I will follow.  Where You lead, I will go.  I don't want to stand still.  I don't want to be held captive.  I want to know the full extent of the freedom that is mine in Christ.

Excited... with hopeful expectation... for what He has in store!


Galatians 5:1 ~ "For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery."

Continuing on... (Zimbabwe - Part 2)

In the midst of that 90-day Journey, I went on a rural mission trip to a little bitty town called Council, Idaho with our students' youth group. (The kids were awesome!)  There were a couple of really precious days with my study, as the Lord created opportunities to apply what He was showing me to the hearts of the students I was spending time with.

Once I got home, the Zimbabwe mission trip was becoming more of a point of interest for me...

Back to the beginning... (Zimbabwe - Part 1)

The Lord had begun working in my heart even before I was approached with the invitation to go to Zimbabwe.  It's funny, how He works.  Aaron, Taylor and I had looked into going to Zimbabwe when we first heard of our church's involvement with the people there, 4 or 5 years ago.  A team was preparing to go and help with Betty and Emmanuel's orphanage (http://www.oasisofgraceministries.org/) that year.  After praying about it, we came to the conclusion that it wasn't the right time for us to go.  Then, almost two years ago, C shared her vision with me...
