Don't give up meeting together...

The only striving we're called to do is to maintain a fervent faith (well, that, and others pertaining to faith)... "Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience." (Heb. 4:11)  The Isrealites fell into disobedience when they failed to believe God for the rest (a Sabbath rest) He had promised in delivering them from Egypt.

In what ways am I maintaining a fervent faith?  Do I neglect my Bible?  Prayer?  Meeting together to be held accountable, be encouraged and  to encourage others?

What are you doing this summer to continue in your faith?  Will you choose a study, or a book of the Bible, to pour yourself into?  Be encouraged to get together with one or two friends to hold each other accountable and to talk about the things He's using to challenge you.  Oh!  And feel free to invite someone new to join you. What a wonderful way to spend a summer!

"Let us not give up meeting together as some are in the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another - and all the more as you see the day approaching."  ~Hebrews 10:25
